At Academy Dental, we strive to hold an others-focused mindset and permeate the power of kindness throughout our communities. Our team is glad to share our time, efforts, and resources with the Southern Maryland Food Bank, the Hospice Tree Festival, Cruising Southern Maryland, and other local nonprofits in Charlotte Hall. We couldn’t be more thankful to team up with our communities to create a culture of support, inclusivity, and opportunity for families and neighbors that need it most.
Dr. O’Shea and the team are always looking for ways we can strengthen and serve our community. We’ve learned the joy of a good meal, and providing a seat at the table for our most vulnerable is fundamental to a stronger community. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Southern Maryland Food Bank. As a nonprofit that’s supported Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s County for over 33 years, Southern Maryland Food Bank’s mission rang true to our family-focused, community-centered philosophy.
For every new patient who comes in for an appointment at Academy Dental Care, we will donate a family meal to the Southern Maryland Food Bank. If a new patient is referred by an existing patient, we will donate a second family meal after their appointment. Together, we can take part in elevating those in need by easing the pain of hunger.
